It's annoying to have to (1) split the audio with another softer (2) import the audio into yet another software (3) edit the sound (4) export (5) import back into Camtasia (6) make sure it lines up correctly and without errors. I'm sure new fancy features are great, but man that sound is SO important. I need to (1) clear background noise (2) balance out sound levels (note: NOT flatten sound levels, but balance a little, maybe adjust bass/treble would be nice) and (3) adjust volume of course.Įverything else seems to work great with my older version. Camtasia 2022 videos can now be sent to TechSmith Audiate for automatic transcription and the ability to edit them like a text document. Does anyone know if the update includes better audio cleanup? That is practically the ONLY feature I really need.
I hope I don't sound too spiteful, but I don't remember anyone asking me about features I might be interested in? Is there a place for paying customers to encourage certain updates? Feature requests? Etc? Admittedly I haven't checked the website yet. I am a paying customer of Camtasia, and I see there is a 2022 update available now.
